Hi MAR$, I'd say this time will be the charm. Several reasons: Intel is showing leadership as are Nvda and Altr Most importantly new highs most often require the extra boosy of new high relative strength leading.Unlike past tops it has RSI leading at new high levels. stockcharts.com Macd has not topped out as much as before - more to run - DMI is still going down where as before it was topped out. It appears we are at a very wonderful point in time where semi's are about to enjoy a rotation. IBD's top 50 have had Altera and Nvidia in them for a while - I think now they'll work their way to the top of the 50. Once the chip makers get there the equipment makers will follow with a lag. I don't think I'd short this one this time around - but I'm always an optimist. Bob
