The boot disc you create in True Image, I do not believe it is custom for your computer.

I use the factory CD (that came in the box) that is also a bootable CD to run True Image from. I have never installed the software. Well actually I installed the software years ago, but I never ran it from Windows, always from the factory boot CD.

Why do I like the factory boot CD? Cause it will not deteriorate due to bad dye. The factory CD is pressed and will last forever.
