It's really about impoverishing people, taking away their energy, their water, and their livlihoods and making them desperate. The crooks that do it also have the solution to the problems THEY themselves created and it's dictatorial in nature and even more onerous than the initial problem. They will just keep on cranking down on the pressure until people finally lash out..then you will see martial law and no more elections and no semblance of freedom whatsover.
