I don't believe in welfare....but, I do believe in education, and that always should be job one in America. Lip service pisses me off....I guess it's because those that practice such language know they are telling lies. You can't sprinkle fairy tales with partial truths to sell something especially concepts and ideas. I believe in analogy and metaphor as an art for deeper meaning since I think things need to be understood from the light of different perspectives. Good poetry makes you think to see the intended meaning of the poet. If you just come out and say something sucks or is wrong or right or even beautiful you might get shot or hauled off to prison for insulting the king or labeled a terrorist for exercising your "freedom of speech" I don't have a problem with offending people. People shouldn't wear their ignorance skin deep. It's the ones that go clean to the bone of parroted dogma whether scientific or religious that scare me. So much history is twisted and the telling corrupted....I mean Soloman for example and those that think they can use good/evil spirits to do good and achieve things that ordinary people can't dream of accomplishing are deluded, and history paints them as great? LOL, how's that for an incoherent rant<g> I was going to make a point? As for language....well, in the beginning there was the word,( and the Word was God ) and all things were created from the vibration of sound.......now, we have wonderful words like crap and injustice, quantitative easing?.....my mind is spent late in the day, I need to rant in the mornings, I'm making no sense.<g>
The ancients practiced a gnosis of mind and shared a devotion to the beauty of thought and purity of feeling, an enthusiasm that created a foundation for the single Love of God. I guess there was a golden age prior to all the religions of the world and the many ideas of things to worship became twisted even before the time of Christ. There was a time when true devotion and piety and harmony of mind was based on the right activity and passivity lead the path of the good man to God.
