Why We Are Moving On

Any item made with silver (or gold) bought at current prices would have to be sold at a price above what most of our customers are willing to pay. We are paying 5 times more for silver as we did just a few short years ago. Some observers believe that silver will climb to $50/ounce in the next few years. It is impossible to know. However, we are quite sure that other business opportunities will be more fruitful.

How can we sell our sterling silver and gold vermeil items at these low prices? Good question, especially since most of our domestic competitors are charging about $2.00 a gram for basic beads and findings. The short answer is that our remaining stock was produced with silver bought a long time ago at much lower prices. Even so, many items are being liquidated below our costs. We had planned to restock (and even move our business to Bali), but prices just keep going up and up.
