Nostalgia. "and Holmer Gold where a gold deposit of possible economic potential in Timmins is unfolding." This is from the preamble to this site, which was written by a former Canadian Mining Newsletter subscriber who actually owns this site, though it has a seeming vanity name. I was never able to change the info. The comment is circa 1996. The deposit referred to is now the Lakeshore Mine which had its first gold pour in Timmins in February of this year I believe.
