OT: Osama Tees There is already a wave of conspiracies: 1) is Osama really dead, 2) why the rapid burial at sea, 3) was he dead four years ago and on ice since, etc, ad nauseum. What I have to contribute is this: Yesterday I rode down into the center of Washington on the "Red Line" and exited at the Farragut North stop. This at 11:30 AM. At the top of the escalator a man was hawking "Obama Got Osama" tees. I got a chuckle but did not buy. I walked on, stopped, and thought - how in the blazes did they get that done so fast? I found out about bin Laden around 11:30 PM the previous night. So they turned that in 12 hours. Impressive. Sooooo. Did the White House call their friends in the tee biz four months ago with a heads up? Did the tee biz do the artwork and organize the emergency production line the day after Obama was elected - just in case? Or was the tee biz just that quick on its feet? Had to pull an all nighter on that - have the blank tees on hand. No suppliers available on Sunday night, remember. It really doesn't add up. But maybe the tee biz really did turn it that quickly, and if they did, my tee is off to them.
