I thought of you when I read this article.

I hate to lose arguments and while this one is ancient history, I thought I would refer you to an article in The Scientific American Nov 1997 issue on internet security, page 52.

an excerpt:

Using more than 56 bits to encrypt a message is considered "strong" but in reality, 1024 bits are needed to assure secrecy.


While you make think that 128 bit encryption is unbreakable re your statement, it will take a government supercomputer with million processors, each million times more powerful than your workstation more time than universe exists to break 128-bit RC4. the author of this article seems to disagree with you.
