MT: Scottsdale only charges I think 1.5 after 1000 shares. I think waterhouse is 1 penny. My suggestion is take enough out to open an account with someone else. when the account is fully operational, sell what you own in the old account..and buy in the new. it will cost you some money true..but sometimes it's worth it to expedite things, if you wait for a transfer, it could take up to a month, I,ve heard, even though I believe it can be done in three days. (I think) They take so long because they don'y ewant to give up the accounts. al
