LBJ was a long time ago. Today the left is lionizing the exact same unit of SEALs that Seymour Hersch called "Dick Cheney's personal assassination squad". If Bush had violated Pakistani sovereignty to carry out this raid, can you just imagine how the New York Times would have covered it? But no questions asked when Obama does it. When a Republican is next elected President, the left will return to slandering American troops and siding with our enemies. They are nothing if not predictable. Siding with America is a temporary aberration for both them and Obama.
