Hi Jacob ans RtS, Shorting stocks makes me nervous - I've done it and just can't get comfortable. If I ever short again - it will be when the sector,in general has ridiculous valuations. To short a stock, when the sector is so depressed, is accepting an undue risk.IMHO It is argueably THE EQUIVALENT OF BUYING AT A TOP!? Today Amat is tendering Vsea at a 55 % premium.!!! Scalping dimes and dollars must be failproof when you risk premiums of 55% WITH IN THE SECTOR. I UNDERSTAND VSEA IS NOT KLIC : bloomberg.com These kinds of head lines have to have an influence over the broader sector don"t they? Bob
