You can laugh at OBL, but he and his band of cave-dwelling ragheads executed the most impactful piece of terrorism/performance art the world has ever seen in ALL it's history. OBL set the bar so high, that only nuking a city can top it. Really, a terribly masterful piece of terrorist jiu-jitsu, a model for all other terrorists to follow. The spectacularly awful 9/11 attack aside, OBL got us to squander our own massive power and capabilities in an orgy of humiliating self-defeating self-destruction, that continues to this day.
