i received the following answers from IR at VVUS: 1.) Has VVUS received full approval to manufacture MUSE from the FDA and are they fulling compliant in their manufacturing techniques? Yes,we are approved to manufacture and sell MUSE in the US. The FDA does have some issues with VIVUS current production facility but they have not slowed down our production capacity. 2.) is it true the FDA has shut down VVUS in production of MUSE for failure to comply with approved manufacturing techniques? (there is a rumor to the effect that production has been shut down) NO 3.) What is the status of the new manufacturing plant being built? Is there an estimated time for its openning? The new plant is expected to be approved by the FDA during the first quarter of 1998 4.) Any estimates available for UK approval? 4Q97 5.) Any other positive information you would be willing to provided would be greatly appreciated, and widely disseminated.
