He's the director brought on late last year. I don't know the significance. One can speculate: 1. He was brought on to do a job, and that job is now completed. 2. He didn't like something. 3. He was asked to leave. 4. His departure had nothing to do with VSYS.

I've chosen to believe that better times are ahead and his departure doesn't signal any different regardless of his reason for leaving.
