I don't believe they will tax Roths. They were specifically created as tax free vehicles.
SS was not created as a tax free system. No, SS wasn't taxed to begin with but, it was never designated as a tax exempt program..

Now, as for your clairvoyancy skills, I'd employ them on a topic that you know something about. Clearly, Roth conversions isn't it.
