About two weeks or so ago, I posted to Steve asking that someone respond to a post number on another thread. I just wanted to say thanks to you and the other person (I've seen his name hundreds of times but can't for the life of me remember how to spell it) for stepping up to the plate sort of speak.

With regard to ghunk and how does God answer perhaps a past experience not so long ago may give you a way to answer him/her. (I am to intimidated by his/her ability to communicate to respond myself).

Quite sometime ago there was a discussion on this thread about the Gap theory and where in the Bible verses were which refered to it. I was following the discussion in silence, but was intrigued enough to reach for my own Bible (which is never farther than arms length away while sitting at the computer) and look up the verse for myself. I quickly forgot what it was I was looking for and began to just read. I came to the verse in Genesis about the tree of knowledge and wondered what is was which was so disasterous that God forbid eating the fruit of it.

It was about 3 or 4 months later that I was returning from walking to the store that all of a sudden it hit me. It was as if for a split second I had been in the right frame of mind to recieve the answer, and it was totally clear. This has happened several times in the past concerning other verses of the Bible. Answer to ghunk - God answers in His own time in His own way usually in the very way we use to ask. The real question is: Are we willing to accept the answer once He does answer?

I'll take up no more of your time, but sure do enjoy reading you elsewhere.

All the best
