Did we read the same article? The columnist clearly stated that the SparQ drive worked great running full video clips and applications. His main complaint? The installation software. And you can be sure that this software is being improved as we speak (if it hasn't been already). If I remember correctly, there was a product called Jaz that also suffered from some software problems early on, with many, many unsatisfied customers. The jist of the column was overall favorable to SparQ, his recommendation being to wait until improved installation software is available.
