Mr/Ms Khoshnood-since I don't know your gender-where shall I start with you??

>>TT- The best backtrader on SI- <<

Not sure what this means -- but if you are suggesting that I post my trades with the benefit of waiting to see what the market has done first so that I can take credit for my success, either your powers of comprehension of the English language are sadly wanting or else your basic intelligence is wanting.

Go back and look at my postings -- I post my trades just about the time that I make them.

>>Pseudonym with no e-mail and backtrading- strange combination?

Pseudonym?? Yes, but "Tom" really is my first name and guess what-- a lot of people use their first name only, and many others use pseudonyms including some who agree with Iqbal.

As far as no e-mail address being shown--again, many posters do not choose to show it--and it is not sign of machismo or the lack of it.

The issue of "back-trading"--I have addressed --show me ONE instance where I have done so--but make sure that you understand what I have written before you bring it to the fore.

>>what do you get to go after Ike

Go after Ike?? No, old fruit, I went after an inaccurate assertion that he had made--and guess what, I have no regrets about it and will do it again, if it is warranted.

>> who has the moral courage to 'ridicule' Saddam with his name and house and e-mail known to everyone<<

Ahhh--so is the new yardstick to measure moral courage--the courage to ridicule Saddam, with ones identity and e-mail address known??

If that is your yard-stick--let us just agree that we both differ on this.

Also, read Nemer's posting re Iqbal's assertions regarding Saddam--I agree with Nemer.

>>Chill out-What 'intellectual honesty' you talk about<<

The intellectual honesty to acknowledge when one is wrong, the intellectual honesty not to suggest that the bears are bleeding when almost everyone who is long says that they have lost money, the intellectual honesty to not suddenly post that they bought 300 contracts of SOX--I assume calls--at the end of the trading day. BTW, the last is what "backtrading" really is.

>>you don't have the moral courage to let people know who you are?

Not an issue of moral courage--it is an issue of whether what I say about Iqbal's misstatements of facts is right or wrong.

>>You want to be credible and open for accountiblity

Others, on SI, who know me can attest to my credibility and accountability-- and some have already.

You for example, have posted under what is presumably your real name, but despite that it has not done a whole lot for your credibilty given the drivel that you have spouted.

>>at the moment you are unknown trader like an unknown soldier who happens to be always right<<

Like I said, your comprehension of what I write is remarkable for not being able to understand some very BASIC things--like my saying and posting point-blank that I am often wrong.

Now tell me -- were you dropped on the head as a baby??

>>You go long when market is up and short when market is down.

Yes -- I look for the market to tell me what I should do

>>Great trading skills, you know what is this called 'backtrading'

Nope--it is called following the trend and not trying to pick tops and bottoms.

>>You are TT the 'backtrader

I challenge you to prove this to me--but before you go off half-cocked make sure that you understand what I have written--and if you are incapable of doing so find someone who can help you.

Also, use a modicum of the intelligence that I presume you have, to figure out why if I am back-trading I keep posting losing trades.

>>I encourage the thread to read TT posts

So do I--and not just you, but anyone on this thread is welcome to show me where I have back-traded--or for that matter claimed that I am always right

>>Your 12th Nov post on this thread is remarkable thanksgiving rally, I think it came a bit early.

Just fancy that--may be,I was wrong!! I shall go and stand in the corner for a time-out

>>I can see whats hurting him.

You can?? I wish I could--I am long the futures, long the OEX calls, closed out my puts for a profit and above all, "TT the back-trader" posted this two days ago before yesterday's rally.

***********************
From your post to Karun:

>>Ike bashing is a fashion, no other poster on any thread is attacked so regularly and vehemently<<

I have never bashed Ike--but when he states something false and is self-serving, I have brought it to his attention--and will continue to do so.

>>For us we know Ike, his family, his name, his job, stop this cheap campaign to discredit Ike<<

I am not attempting to discredit him--I have praised him on many occasions--but unlike you and some other blind followers of his, when he is misstating the facts or indulging in self-serving promotion, I surface it and whether you like it or not, I shall continue to do so.
