Ted, still a fan of high-speed rail? Info from Osama raid shows interest in US trains news.yahoo.com Kind of hard to defend against train terrorism. Unlike planes, which are relatively safe in the skies as long as you keep the bad guys out of the planes, trains can be hit anywhere and everywhere. Maybe there's wisdom in taking the war on terrorism to the Middle East. Conversely, we could just pull out, not buy their oil, and reduce our global influence, and maaaaaaybe they'll leave us alone.
