That's the problem with relying on "covert intel." They use methods that, if exposed to the public, would create a huge uproar, as can be seen with the whole waterboarding controversy.

Whether you look the other way or not depends on a lot of things, such as whether it's successful or not, how much it intrudes upon our own rights and privacy, and whether an R or a D is in office.

So be careful what you wish for. You might actually get it.
