Glad to hear your hubby is doing well. He'll probably be very happy to get home and back into familiar surroundings. Not to mention being able to enjoy some home cooked meals. I'm sure he has months of pt ahead of him, but over all it sounds like he's well on his way to recovery. It has to be a great relief to have those surgeries behind him, and also knowing that eventually he won't be suffering from the awful pain of his prior condition.

Son's are so great! My youngest son's wife is out of town for a month, so it's just him and his 5 yr old son. He called last night and was excited to talk about how hard it is to be a single parent. He rattled off all of the things he has to do in a day, and made mention how tired he was.

LOL

After reflecting on the times my hubby would be gone for months at a time when my boys were little ones, all I could say is "been there, done that". Fortunately, I didn't have to go to work like he does, but I really do know what it's like to be a single parent. It is an incredibly difficult job.
