I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Thank you for sharing their story. Your parents were obviously destined for one another and now they are reunited.

My mother died four years ago today at 1:30 a.m. As I sat by her beside that night I consoled myself with the thought that my parents would be having breakfast together in the morning.

About three hours before she died, the young nurse who had been assigned to sit in the room removed my Mother's stockings and gently washed her feet. The enormity of that simple act of kindness did not register with me until the next day.

Whenever I think of my parents, the memories are pleasant and sustaining and I hope know doubt that your memories will be the same.
