Mark - Re: " AMD's losses are fairly minor compared to their assets." But their MAJOR asset is MORTGAGED! Fab 25 is the collateral used against $400,000,000 in debt ussued by AMD a few years ago. That debt requires an 11% interest rate and comes due in about 3 more years. If they continue to lose money, this company may be forced into a position that will make any shareholder cringe - you can speculate as to the possibilities. Paul
