Your laptop has about five times the processing power of my wife's tower--and I'm guessing that it uses about one fifth the energy. Pretty amazing what you can get for just $1k. And I'm sure most of us paid over $2k twenty years ago for our 386 and 486's. I already mentioned awhile back that I finally recycled my 486 this year after one last boot just for fun. I have a nice dry crawlspace under my house where I throw all my old junk. So, a fella from work says I must be a real pack rat-- which struck a chord. I threw out a copy of Windows Millennium just now as I get started on my spring cleaning <g>.
