National says that they charge 1cent over 5000 shares, but they don't....I have probably bought 15 or 20 million shares thru them and have never been charged that additional 1 cent a share charge. My only problem I have had with them was getting certs on a timely basis. They do have on line real time quotes for free, also. They may charge that 1 cent on blue chip stock but who buys enough of that, too worry about 1 more cent on the price....Jim
