"I like the US model of party allegiance. Once a member always a member*, but you can agree with other party platforms or thoughts."

(* Unless you are Arlen Specter
Arlen Specter (born February 12, 1930) is a former United States Senator from Pennsylvania. Specter is a Democrat, but was a Republican from 1965 until switching to the Democratic Party in 2009. Elected to the Senate in 1980, Specter staked out a spot in the political center.

NDP in Quebec. Gonna get interesting. Reminds me of Citizen Kane when he bot all the heads of the other newspaper - will Charlie change them, or will they change Charlie? Was watching the election via CBC (always like seeing how Mansbridge and his Ex always interplay) anyways - Quebec doesn't have their leader from Quebec -- Jack is from Toronto.

Watching too much US poly-ticks. Prime Minister term is 5 years - like our passports, except when a minority and then it depends how long it takes to topple the government.
