If you have the 25 digit code for activation you could download the Office version you have from many p2p sites.

I know how to do the downloading, but I think perhaps I don't have the activation code. When I open Excel 2003 and do Help/About Excel I can see that it is licensed to me, but the number under Product ID (I think) is the laptop code(??). It says

Name
Toshiba
Product ID xxxxx-xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx

Is that Product ID for Excel, or for the laptop?

If the laptop, any idea where I can find the Excel activation code on the laptop? A friend bought it for me from abroad, and it didn't come with any discs, but I'm almost positive the Office 2003 suite is paid for and licensed.
