Thirty years ago:

A blue collared worker's salary was $3-5 per hour. Now it is $20-35 per hour.

A doctor's salary was $30,000 per year and now it is $200,0000 per year.

But you forget there are ways to shop.....Not everyone shops at Kowalaski's.

In the mid west we have a gas station called Kwik Trip. We ALWAYS get:

1) eggs for 0.99 cents per dozen,

2) Butter for $1.99 per pound,

3) Bananas and loose onions for 0.38 cents per pound and more.....

4) Milk in plastic bags is $1.24 for half a gallon and they provide you with a free pitcher.

So, yes there is little inflation.....Fox News and the Republicans need to understand not everyone is shopping at Macy's for clothes or Kowolaski's (high end grocer) for food items because we are not as rich as them.

Remember, it was called fuzzy math and can still be called fuzzy math!!!
