There are obvious differences though pointed out between the US situation and the Japanese situation.. The US WWII situation seems closer to Japan today.. (debt used to make stuff) but in any event debt growth eventually must overwhelm... unless deficits are controlled.. some rates are slow... some are fast.. no ? and what of rolling debt over in higher interest rate environments and he interest burden... then again this was interesting I thought on unfunded liabilities...
