I agree, it would be great to see the goings on of the various funds. I don't know of any source that provides a "tape" of the fund action, but the Morningstar site comes close. Mornngstar shows the top 10 holdings for any fund you select. By viewing the site, say on a weekly basis, you can see which stocks go in and out of favor with the various funds. They also provide the percentage of portfolio for each stock.

For example, Gary Pligrim of Pilgrim Baxter had always been hot for Cascade and Ascend. But Ascend is no longer in PBHGX's top 10 holdings. Should it show up there again, that would be a very positive sign.

I like to look at those funds that are performing well to see how their top 10 changes. A new addition to the top 10 would present a serious candidate for study. If a stock drops off the top 10 of a good performing fund, I would view that as a warning. At any rate, Morningstar is a top notch site.
