I saw this program about a woman who adopted this doberman from the pound. She didn't know the history of the animal and took her time getting to know it, or maybe the dog was shy or something..... So after a couple of months she bought a bunch of stuffed animals for it, the dog loved them. After a while she started to notice the dog actually arranging the stuffed toys in different patterns in her back yard. She sent some videos to a behavioral scientist that thought she might be a little cracked, but it peaked her curiosity enough to at least check it out.

Later she observed and video taped the dog doing its works of art. I've seen the dog do it, he really thinks the entire artwork out.

The old lady related a story vividly remembering the first day that the dog sat next to her and let her put her arm around it..... Later she took a picture of one of the dogs arrangements, it had a frog and a bear laying face down, one with its arm around the other...
