Lisa, I talked with a Director of Qwest, which is building a fiber optic network accross the country. He mentioned that the big 4 LD carriers are getting short of network, and in some cases have to walk away from customer deals for OC 12, OC 48 type services. Demand is being driven by Intranets, growth of Multimedia, and other data and voice services. If this is true, and I have been hearing it from other quarters, then the demand for Ggamux should be very strong from the LD carriers for their metro/regional networks, and the local telcos like GTE and the Fortune 500, maybe even NASA.
I can't figure out what you mean when you blame most of Osicom's current problems on the shareholders? I didn't know we had that much power.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE???
I would like to see them sell of the non-productive units and its seems they may do that. But a lot of their products are highly touted and work well, so I don't know what you mean when you say they aren't moving ahead? They HAVE advanced products and good companies want to work with them and distribute their stuff. What happend to change this?
We will know soon how big a loss they will be reporting for 3Q and probably be getting news on Gigamux orders soon. If the loss is manageable, and there is no other surprises, you should see us stop whining for a while. Sorry, I have to get some Kleenex.
