Re: Earnings projections

Cymer last reported 23C per share after writing off 8c for customer improvement program. Akins stated that based on backlog and projections he sees growth continuing and improving sequentially over the next two quarters. This means that if we calculate on past sequential growth at an average of 21% per quarter(earnings) and absent the non-recurring charge we may expect 37c next quarter (23 plus 8 times 21% plus 31) and 45c the next. 97 will come in at 99c and 98 will be off to a good start. This seems to be well above current projections.

Am I missing something here? Any thoughts?

Mike
