John and Thread: Did some digging last night looking for data and it looks like I've been too optimistic and underestimated the amount of radiation that's only begun accumulating in the U.S.

Radioactive Cesium has a half life of 30 yrs and will continue to accumulate in our water, soil, and plant life the longer these plants emit it and other radioactive elements into the atmosphere.

Link below gives a more comprehensive view of the various elements. So far...some are relatively insignificant. Others R much more worrisome. The key is time. How many more months or even years will these large atmospheric releases continue:
