Headline was he allegedly sodomized her but in the story he forced her to perform oral sex. I think as you do the headline
was to get maximum coverage-so"sodomizing" was used. It is interesting how they frame him as "bigshot" also.

In practise I think it would be very difficult to force a woman into either sodomy or oral sex. It reaks of the same set
up that got Eliot Spitzer to resign. IMHO.
