Chris, what I saw in that article is an end to "subsidies for all energy companies". I found no reference to oil companies at all, other than this indirect one.

Hopefully, Ryan would shut down the massive, wasteful subsidies for "renewables" that are literally going nowhere.

These idiots are just wasting money on solar panels and windmills. Neither of which is feasible as a significant contributor to our energy needs.

If you're going to subsidize ANYTHING it ought to be CNG, which at least has potential to produce economic benefits by eliminating the massive energy trade deficit. But no, liberals have made up this fracking nonsense to stonewall the progress.
