Strange weather patterns -

I just got home from Virginia.

The mid-west is just saturated. Southern Illinois looks like a big lake, Indiana...mud, The Ohio river at Louisville, 2 weeks ago was swollen. Saturday, though, it had dropped 15 to 20 feet.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we can't get any moisture. A whole .50 inch fell while I was gone...damn cold, too. We are in a frost warning...right now it is 34 degrees with an hour or so to go before sunrise.

BTW, bought my first $4.19 gallon of gas somewhere in West Virginia.
