Lighting Science Group Launches Expanded Line of Ultra-Efficient DEFINITY LED
Bulbs

First Low-Cost, High Output A19 60 and 40 Watt Equivalent Omnidirectional Bulbs
and BR30/40 Bulbs Added to the Line

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla., May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Leading the
ultra-efficient lighting revolution--Lighting Science Group (LSCG) will roll out
at LIGHTFAIR International an expanded line of low-cost, long-lasting DEFINITY
LED bulbs. The line now includes LED flood and spot lights as well as vanity
lights and 60 and 40 watt equivalent omnidirectional bulbs in variety of colors.

The DEFINITY LED bulbs are approximately 75-80% more efficient than traditional
bulbs, are dimmable, are "instant on", and will last for decades. Independent
tests show that the lumen (light) output of the bulbs is unrivaled-outperforming
many comparable products by 25-30%.

"The DEFINITY LED line is simply brilliant--quality and energy savings at an
affordable price," said James Haworth, chief executive officer of Lighting
Science Group. "They are the clear winners for those shopping for ultra-efficient
and environmentally-friendly replacement bulbs."

The new 60 watt equivalent DEFINITY LED bulb is a direct replacement for the most
commonly used incandescent bulb in use in this country; over 425 million 60 watt
incandescent bulbs are sold in the U.S. every year--making up approximately 40%
of the bulb sales market. Furthermore, unlike compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs),
Lighting Science Group's LED bulbs contain no mercury, are completely recyclable
and offer outstanding light quality.

Many of the DEFINITY LED bulbs have been ENERGY STAR approved. "We lead the
industry in the number of ENERGY STAR approved LED bulbs--a true testament of the
superior quality and performance of our LED products," added Haworth.
