Oh come on, Ted, the biggest difference should be obvious. Consensual affair vs. sexual assault.

Also the prominence of the IMF head far outweighs that of any congressional representative who can't even balance one nation's checkbook.

But for you, I think I know what the difference is. One is a socialist, the other is an (R).


Uh......dude, in my initial post, I never mentioned the guy from the IMF. Its you who brought him up and then tried to make the two analogous.....in that oblique way you have that you think is mysterious and very clever all at the same time.

To me, one is French; the other American. One is accused of sexual assualt; the other financial improprieties and bribery. The French one is only significant to the French; the American only to Americans. The American one is getting scant news coverage; the French one a considerable amount. The only similarity between the two is that they are prominent figures.

Can you see the differences and the lack of similarities, or are you so committed to your absurd analogy that the differences allude you?
