My guesstimate is that the rainwater is the best gauge of how clean the atmosphere is. Probably the most sensitive gauge as the rain will getter all the crap out there. Rain drops nucleate on dust particles for a start, and water spray is the principle method of how industrial scrubbers clean gaseous effluent from factories.

So the official figures are very kool indeed. The rainwater figures all read "Not Detectable". That means either we are so far safe, or the official figures can be very easily disproved. You just collect a glass of reservoir water from the tap, and a glass of recent rainwater off the roof and the counts should be the same.

Should be an easy test to conduct. I am going to be talking to a few folks. May take a week or two.

Looks like the price of geiger muller kits is going up. Buy your "nuclear doorbell" while stocks last !!!!

Once our small stock has been sold there will be no more so don't miss this incredibly rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history and WW II memorabilia, with macabre contemporary overtones

The Radex RD 1503 would be a good buy.... if they had any in stock.
