He's retiring...he doesn't care...he doesn't have to praise the man, but he did, emphatically...one of the most courageous decisions he's seen in 8 admins and 30 years...your president is a strong man, with strong convictions...i know that burns at you but it's what it is. He didn't praise him either...as he did obama... We'll see when the book comes out. Gates is a good man, but I haven't always agreed with him. The most courageous decision Obama has made has been to continue essentially ALL of the Bush military policy that was put in place before he got there. But one courageous decision cannot offset the massive damage that has been done by having a weak, inexperienced, immature liberal running the country. It is like re-living the Carter years, but worse.
