I think the problem with the price of TXN is that too many
institutions have bought it. The stock has a very large
institutional ownership. But since this past summer, the
institutions have been dumping shares. The general public
has been buying them. Since TI has a large institutional
ownership, it gets hit more than average.

The future is hard to predict, but my humble opinion is that the
rise since October 27 is a classic sucker's rally where the smart
money sells its shares to the general public. TXN has the mis-
fortune to be a company once favored by the smart money.
