<<it appears that DSK may be a repeat sexual offender, so at this point I cannot sympathize with him.>>

What ever happened to the concept of "presumed innocent until
proven guilty".

I am not saying that I believe he is or isn't but that is our bases of the law. The NYPD and the media already judged guilty and are treating him as such. If he is innocent it has been an expensive w/e visit to New York.
The damage to his reputation is irreparable, a life time of work and service ruined in one day in NY. On top of a week spent in a jail with common criminals, the hiring of NY attorneys etc.
Either way it shows the world what a backward hypocritical and very dangerous place the US has become. Let us face the facts, the NYPD and media writers and most everybody else, is aware that, for the $3,000. a night he spent on the suite he could have had hookers coming and going and any kind of sex he could dream up.

Ironically, the same week the Dep of Commerce and
US Travel Association are complaining that the US is losing International tourists to other destinations
news.yahoo.com
"Specifically, a burdensome US visa system drives millions of potential travelers to other countries at an enormous cost to our economy," the report says.

The report considers every dollar spent by foreign visitors to the United States to be an export dollar, which makes travel "an easy export industry to expand and a key to closing our trade deficit."
