The Founding Fathers of the United States established a representative style government because they recognized that everyone didn't have time to go to the capital, debate issues, and vote. Ergo, it was decided that each community would send a representative to vote on behalf of his friends and neighbors living in his town. From that simple, noble idea we have arrived at... THIS! Today, how in God's name can 535 men and women represent the desires and opinions of over 300 million? Answer: They cannot. However, 535 can be easily controlled, like puppets, by money, threats, and delusions of greater power and security.
