Mark: I am a new shareholder. I would like to point out something you may or may not be overlooking. With slots, the % payout doesn't matter that much. People never leave with the money. They stay until it's all gone. With a high % payout, it just takes longer to get it all.
The only people who leave with money are the HUGE jackpot winners.
And that doesn't really cost the house anything because it's the players money. The Blackjack is a liitle different, because you're playing against the house. With Blackjack, the house knows that some table are going to be losers, but they usually have enough winning tables that they end up in the plus side. Casinos don't lose money in the gaming rooms, they lose it with perks they give away, advertisement etc. Once they get the people in, they make money. Once a person sits down at that slot machine, he's a goner. And if by some chance he wins 100 bucks, he's right back there the next night giving it all back. If slots were such a losing propisition..why in the world are their so many of them..I am not posting this as a "flame", I wanted to express my thoughts on this. al
