Ted--I have been trying to find an answer to your question about Nikkei options.

Perhaps something is there for you or you can E-mail them a question or two. I agree the Nikkei is ripe for puts and shorts, when the Japanese banking problems come home to roost they are really going to take a hit (can you say recession?).
I don't play options normally myself, I prefer not to get caught in the time penalty phase of the things. I also haven't studied them enough. I have a tendency to eat a point or two when I go long or short and then have to wait for time to bring the market around to my view point. Options would kill me under such conditions. I do utterly love it when I start gaining right away because for some reason when that happens I score big and quick.
