Wondering if you have ever tried to crack the addon open and changed the version range the addon will work with. I have had a couple of addons that were not supported in higher versions and I did this. Unless something major has changed, I would expect most addons would work. Recently "MultirowBookmarksToolbar" was updated to include monitoring (to cover costs supposedly). Up to 5.0 - no spy ware, then 5.1 added it. Plus at the same time came out - so they want you to shift to THAT ADDON. Well I am not shifting and changed the non-plus 5.0 to 5.9 - that way it will never ask to update - and since that is now EoL, I never have to worry about it again. Can't say a "3.5" addon can be changed to work with "4.0". But come August, if some addons won't work, a changing a versions I will gooooooo Anyways I used WINRAR to extract the XPI then repackage it. One of the files (cannot remember which) has the versions - XML stuff. B
