There are a lot of interesting aspects to the 500+ people in the two semi trailers story, especially when you find out they were discovered in Chiapas. Chiapas is way the hell & gone in Mexico and some, including me, would say that it's evidence that the Mexican government's main interest is the security of their southern border and to hell with the U.S.

On the human side of the story, I think I would prefer to take my chances on a rubber raft escaping Cuba than to be packed sardine style for that long ride from one end of Mexico to the other.
