i have been keeping up to some extent on cng tanks for cars/trucks, and the technology, materials, reliability, and safety for cng tanks has gotten much, much better for fueling and for various collisions. the latest thing i read was some patented cng tank from some utah company that some company like gm or ford had selected. someone asked about lng, and i read a blurb recently from clne or some ng company talking long distance trucks using lng today. perhaps for a hypothetical long distance truck run of 1000 or 2000 miles, the lng fuel use is sufficient so that no matter how warm the tank gets the pressure cannot build higher than the tank pressure rating, bwdik.
