sold 250 Dell for one of those reasons,then I turned around and bought back 400shs plus 50 amat.
I now treat this as a separate investment with a chance to
participate in the earnings.However, if Dell drops 12% then those
400 get sold and I put the money elsewhere( perhaps cash).
Yes bears are a big distraction, but can only hurt if they divert
you from your own policies.
